The Fluid Piano. We filmed the world premiere concert of a new acoustic instrument - the fluid piano. It's the brainchild of Brighon-based composer and inventor Geoff Smith.

Office Move . We finally managed to move to new premises in Brighton's Kemptown, near to the sea.

Online comedy. We developed, wrote and produced a short, humorous video to give a quick introduction to Crunch's online accounting service.

An hour of dental drama. We filmed some fantastic drama about communcation in dentistry for our client Smile-on. With more than 20 characters, working for a 5 day stretch in a London studio we produced over an hour of original drama.

Directors get wed. Nice Media directors Tom Hickmore and Melanie Thomas get married. Congratulations!

Welcome Melanie . We are very excited to invite Melanie Thomas to the team. Melanie joins Nice Media as a director of the company and will be focussing on business management and continuous service improvement.

Non-linear and HD. The core of our filming kit is now the Sony EX1 which records in the excellent, high-quality XDCam video format and onto non-linear media. This will improve our image quality and streamline post-production.

Farewell Colette. 'No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! - November!' Thus quoth Thomas Hood and I can only presume he had a premonition of that walking ray of sunshine that is Colette Scott leaving Nice Media. Wired Sussex's gain is our loss. Good luck Col!

90 minutes of studio drama. Working for Smile-on we produced 90 minutes of dramatised video sequences about performance issues in the medical profession.

Reptile Day wins another award. Tom's short film Reptile Day wins the Edius award for Best Edit at the End of the Pier Film Festival.

"Independence". Working for Brightwave and their client, a large accountancy firm, we completed a major production with 22 different drama clips and around 50 talking heads.

Nice delivers 60-minutes of dramatised video content for e-learning package Communication in Dentistry for publisher Smile-on. Filmed in a London studio with a large cast.

Felicity's Fixation at the National Media Museum - Felicity's Fixation, a collection of short clips orginally produced for mobile phone distribution, has been selected for the 13th Bradford International Film Festival at the National Media Museum March 9th - 23rd 2007.

Reptile Day at Clermont-Ferrand market - with subsidy from Screen South, Tom took Reptile Day to the short film market at Clermont-Ferrand where he secured a distribution deal.

Nice Mobile Phone Clips on Channel 4 podcast - Our Funky Sage clips feature on the Channel 4 podcast This is a Knife. The programme is a profile of the star of the Funky Sage series, UK Beatbox Champion Beardyman. To watch the show on YouTube click here.

Award nomination - Nice Media's comedy clip for mobile phones, "Felicity's Fixation", has been selected for screening at the backup Festival in Germany, where it will be competing for the New Media "backup award".

Nice Media qualifies as preferred supplier - Following an extensive audit by client company Capita Learning Solutions, Nice Media has been validated as a 'Silver Accredited’ supplier for video content.

Nice Media appointed by Epic on behalf of human capital consultants, Watson Wyatt, to record a series of interviews with key personnel for their Induction Training programme.
